The Oak Grove Foundation’s Show Your Love campaign is here! Information packets went home in students' communicators on Friday. The Foundation has over a 15-year history of supporting academic enrichment, teacher development, classroom technology, and educational experiences, which have helped make OGE one of the top elementary schools in DeKalb County. Please review the materials that came home in your child's communicators, and consider making your tax-deductible gift by February 14 at oakgrovefoundation.org/donate.

It's not too late to help us as a volunteer

Oak Grove Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Part-Time Literacy Coach to support our Kindergarten through Second Grade (K-2) students in developing strong foundational reading skills. The Literacy Coach will play a key role in identifying struggling readers, developing a targeted curriculum plan, and providing small-group intervention to enhance student success. This position requires a passion for literacy instruction, collaboration with classroom teachers, and a commitment to fostering a love of reading in young learners. This is a contract position supported by the Oak Grove Foundation. The Literacy Coach’s schedule will be set through a mutual agreement between the coach and principal.

Please contact Valerie_Kennedy@dekalbschoolsga.org if you or someone you know is interested.
